I happen temporarily to occupy this big White House. I am living witness that any one of your children may look to come here as my father's child has. If there is anything that a man can do well, I say let him do it. Give him a chance.

I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and I mean to keep on doing so until the end.

In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
