When does the new play begin?
Opening night is scheduled for June 12, 2009.

What is your performance schedule?
June 12 – August 15, 2009. The production will run six
days a week; Tuesday – Sunday, we will not have a
production on Mondays.

What is the play about?
The new production will be a play about the life of
Abraham Lincoln, the man who many consider to be our
greatest president. Audience members will gain an
insight into the life of the man whose legacy continues
to forge the future.

Is it a musical?
It will not be a musical; it is a play. However, the
play will be enhanced with a variety of period music.

The Amphitheatre has the capacity to seat approximately
1,500.

How long is the show?
“Lincoln” will last approximately 1 ˝ hours,
with a fifteen minute intermission.

What comes with my ticket?
Your Lincoln Experience includes a delicious meal,
admittance into the state park, our fascinating
Lincoln archives, children’s pioneer games and free
popcorn and drinks. Artisans will be on site
demonstrating pioneer tasks and you have the option
of taking a scenic walking tour.

are willing to volunteer their time. We need
