A.Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale
June 19 –  July 26
Wednesday – Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. CDT
Matinees on Wednesday, June 25 and Sunday, July 13 at 2 p.m. CDT
Optional Meal begins one hour prior to showtime (must make meal reservations at least three days in advance).

Description: A.Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale is back for a third season. The two-act musical drama tells President Lincoln’s Indiana boyhood story through theatre, song, and spectacle. As President Lincoln narrates the story, audiences will see these stories come alive as Lincoln reads by candlelight, falls in love for the first time, suffers the great losses of his mother and sister, and takes flat boat trip to New Orleans, where he experiences his first slave auction. A. Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale will educate and entertain audiences through Lincoln’s journey as an Indiana pioneer and became president of the United States.

Celtic Song and Dance!
Sunday, August 17 at 2 p.m. CDT

Description: Back by Popular Demand! Guilderoy Byrne along with the McTeggart Irish Dancers. The upbeat music and dancing will make for an energetic and lively show with everyone on their feet ready to dance! The amphitheatre has plenty of room for clapping, singing, and dancing along.

Route 66
September 12 – 14

Description: Take a dollop of Grease, mix in somePump Boys and Dinettes and add a generous dose of Forever Plaid and you’ve got the high-octane fun of Route 66! Created by Roger Bean and produced byA.Lincoln: A Pioneer Tales’ Ken Jones, it begins with the sounds of 1950s Chicago and travels along the “Main Street of America” to the California coast with the surf music of the 1960s. This exciting musical revue features 34 of the greatest “Rock ‘n’ Road” hits of the 20th century!

Trail of Terror
October 11, 17, 18, 24, and 25
No Scare Hour runs 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. CDT
Trail of Terror runs 7:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. CDT

Description:Lincoln Amphitheatre teamed up with Friends of Lincoln State Park in the fourth annual Trail of Terror. What fears do you keep bottled up inside? The Trail of Terror is full of ghosts, vampires, zombies, and fairytales that did not end so happily ever after…the Trail of Terror gets bigger, better, and scarier every year!

Scrooge’s Christmas
December 6, 13, 20
Runs in conjunction with the Christmas Celebration Saturdays
Three performances per day: 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 6 p.m. CST

Description:  Lincoln Amphitheatre presents an adaptation of the classic tale of A Christmas Carol. Written and directed by A.Lincoln: A Pioneer Tale’s Ken Jones, Scrooge’s Christmas is a heart-felt production about the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge and the spirits of Christmas. This annual production will become a Christmas tradition for you and your family.

Scrooge’s Christmas runs in conjunction with Santa Claus, Indiana, Christmas Celebration Saturdays.
